Hey all, as some of you know I picked up a little Fiesta ST to replace both my MS3 and Miata. I had a ton of cash wrapped up in the MS3 and it didn't get driven all that much and the Miata was pretty uncomfortable for a daily. So, why not spread out the MazdaSpeed go fast parts and recoop some cash, and pick up what seems to be one of the most fun and affordable car available now. Long story short, I got a 2016 Fiesta St in Kona Blue with ~16k miles, Recaro seats, black wheels/red calipers, sunroof, and navigation.
I plan on keeping it stock as possible, just have a few ideas to keep it interesting. End goal is to have a fun little car to daily and maybe autocross but keep it simple enough that I don't need to stare at my AccessPort any time I want to have fun.
So far - Cobb Stage 1 kit (I know, never say stage but it's literally a kit) which entails the AccessPort, high flow filter, and rear motor mount. Along with that I'm in the final revision of a Purple Drank tune. Ryan is tuning me up good and I have to say, I'm seriously impressed at the power this little 1.6L puts out on basically no mods. These really are a smaller yet improved version of our DISI motor and I love it. All the boost you could ever want at 3k rpm for fun passing power (although truthfully the top end certainly is disappointing coming from a 600whp MS3).

Making my way downtown:
Maybe come warmer weather, depending on my savings account, I'll pick up an upgraded FMIC to keep things cool, definitely a @Maisonvi shift knob, but beyond all that I really don't want to do anything else. It's silly to try and make a 1.6L "fast" in my opinion, especially if you're doing to have it as a daily driver. Some day down the line I'll get back into a project/race car but for now, I'm happy with reliability and a little bit of boost!
