ABS light problem

abs light has been on with the traction light also. Wondering if any of you have replaced the abs control module. They told me it was faulty and i took it to AutoZone for an abs scan and it gave code c0082-48. I just want to be really sure before i spent $546.00 on a module. If anyone can share some light here i'm going to appreciate it.

Try disconnecting the battery for 5-10 minutes. Disconnect and reconnect the connector for the ABS module and see if the code returns.

Sometimes if modules have terminal fretting (light corrosion you can't really see with your eye) they will pop codes for random things. This normally happens with Air Bag modules but can happen to others.

Thanks! I disconnected the battery for a whole day and nothing but didn't disconnect the connector. Light keeps coming on! Mechanic told me i had to replace the abs control module but wanted to see if some of you have gone through this

I would unplug everything and plug it back in just to make sure it's not a connection issue first
