Heat management plan is taking form. I got a DEI turbo blanket enroute a long with some wrap. Turbo manifold is going to be inconel coated and likely some inconel shielding for the fuse box. I thought about inconel shielding on the downpipe but I don't think that is needed nor does the room exist between it and the strut tower. I feel I'm going to have to get a little creative there.
Ordered a speedfactory battery mount along with external battery jumpers. I'll be using a Deka ETX-20L instead of the odyssey 680 that the mount was designed to use. (similar dimensions and approximately 150 more CCA's).
I'm dropping the car off at another shop on Sept 12th to complete the rest of the work. I would do this but I no longer have a place I can keep the car and do the work on it. Unfortunately, HOA is taking a shit on my DIY.

I got the car back. There's so many little things to get done that will impact whether the car turns into a rolling fireball or not it has me completely overwhelmed.
So, with that said, fuck it. It's going back to another shop. I just don't have the time I did before to put towards it. It's either that or scrounge up what's left of Nator NC.
But here's some pictures to give an idea where I stand at the moment.
Also, I have next to no room for a filter. I bought a cheap that I'm getting ready to go pick-up to give me an idea before I spend 50-60 plus on a filter that doesn't work.
Front view of how it looks with the IC and how the dump looks from straight on. Yes, I know the IC isn't exactly centered, but with how it worked with the setup that's how it had to be. Also the front bumper was trimmed just to fit the damn thing as is. No crash bar unfortunately.

Rotate intake and put it above the engine? Its got to be better than right near the exhaust spinny bits.

I found a filter locally. I just need to find an aem or K&N the same size. Now that I know the dimensions that will definitely work shouldn't be too hard.

Looks good. Apexi makes a line of air filters with an aluminum mounting flange, if it devolves into the something cray cray.

the CPe manifold looks like it got alot thicker in the area where freek had a blowout. those little bolts only had about 11/2 threads of engagement before.
I should send them a bill
you need to get something in there for the crash bar, it helps hold the whole bumper cover in place

No room for a crashbar at all. I'd have to remove the bumper. The fmic pretty much doubles as a crash bar. It's physically supporting the bumper anyways.

car is back at the shop to be completed. Letting another shop do this. Big plans. If all plays out I'll be doing a motec stand alone. All boost/vacuum/misc will all be AN lines. Not a stone going unturned.
Shop expects it to be done by March'ish given how much work has to be done. Going to be inconel shielding the manifold, etc. New heatshields for other parts of the car to keep them from melting.
From what I was told they are taking it on as a project for the shop and should be dope as fuck once completed.
If anyone is curious about the ecu it's likely going to be the motec m142.
I'm hoping I get pictures during the process. IF not I'm going to be stopping by there periodically to check'er out.
oh and color scheme is going to be a purple/gold mosiac of what the fucks. Going with a calico gold-reflect coating on the intake manifold and turbo compressor housing, etc.

Things are in full swing at the shop that's doing the work on my car. At the amount of work going into this car and what its costing I believe I'm going to be stuck with this thing for life.
Hard parts are at calico coatings as we speak getting coated. Should be done in a few weeks. Intake manifold is going to be a gold reflect coating along with the turbo compressor housing. I'm going to try and have the exhaust manifold coated and if the heat is still a problem the plan is to go to ATP for an inconel shield.
the ECU harness is being prepared as well for the M142 ecu. The stock ECU is going to be retained to run CANBUS components like the dash and immobilizer, etc. The M142 is going to run everything else like the engine and the fueling, and any of the many amazing rolling and launch anti-lags.
Here's what I was emailed and the plan over the next month or two
and the connectors they will be using are a 55-way milspec and a 41-way milspec according to my invoice.
After a few thousand dollars deposit we are moving along. I've requested some pictures along the way so I can keep this updated.

hopefully the motec will assist with traction. At least from what I've been told. I've got my fingers crossed. If not I'm going to go with the largest slick I can and daily the fuck out of it.
Also setup is likely to change a little. The maf is likely gonna get axed so no more intake required. Just a velocity stack like my original plan but without all the issues of having to go blow-thru. just deleting the fuck out of it.

If you end up going with inco heat shields get ahold of Advanced Thermal Dynamics. This guys had most of his exhaust shielded and their work quality is amazing.
