Alternative intake manifold

So this is a bit late of a question for me but might be useful at a later stage as I have done all the intake pipe in my project now.

Is there an alternative intake manifold where the throttle body and intake actually comes in from the opposite side of the manifold? I.e from the auxiliary belt side?

This would of saved me a hell of a lot of time and money if there is and may make my life much easier in the future for maintenance but I only recently discovered these forums.
 
There is not, you can run the FoST intake manifold with the Damond motorsports adaptor plate and that does a center downwards mount of the Throttle body
 
You could try a Ford Intake from the Focus ST. It has a throttle body that points down, not sure if that would interfere with motor mounts in your project tho.

I didn't search for the adapter itself on Google, did go through their website and couldn't see it, with not knowing the year of the st, wasn't sure what to look for, my brother has the straight 5 st so I know that one wasn't the one for this engine.

I'm spicy with sarcasm currently, more so than usual, for that I do apologize.

I don't recall the year of the focus ST needed, similar years. But you need need to slightly modify the manifold to fit unless you buy it from Damond motorsports directly then they do it for you. This should all be detailed on their product page somewhere or in one of their blog posts on their website.

Edit: They have two versions of the adaptor, port injection and non PI. If you want to maybe run PI one day then a majinspeed PI block off plate is the way to go for it
 
My brother has got a 3d printer recently and has made some intake runners, I am tempted at this point if there is nothing on the market to design and make one myself if the need arises to take it off at some point. I had to design a couple of flanges for my project and worked well, im sure I could do the same for the intake
 
If you are going that far it would be easier to cut the throttle body bend off the stock one and weld it back together flipped
