I've been thinking about getting one of these. They're pretty cheap used and many still have low miles. It's either a fist or a V8. At half the price of a camaro or gt, it's kinda appealing. I really didn't want to get into another turbo car though.

Once you get FiSTed you'll never feel the same![]()
I wanted turbo AWD so I bought a 2017 Raptor. I actually own zero cars right now and just a truck.

Everybody here drove ms3 and 6's with aggressive motor mounts and/or lowered. I doubt street comfort is an issue. How do you enjoy dailing the Raptor? Matt Farrah recently said in a podcast that unless you off-roaded all the time, you were much better off getting a platinum trim line or something for the same money since it's more street friendly. Curious to see how a Raptor owner feels about that statement.
The only way the platinum is the same price is with discounts and basically buying a fully loaded raptor which I did not do. My truck is middle of the road and was only 55K MSRP. I love dailying my truck. Its only disadvantage is that is is too wide for some places at 86 inches wide and its now too tall for my garage since I installed taller aftermarket rear leaf springs. Plus if I lived somewhere I could offroad all of the time, I would. How do you enjoy dailing the Raptor? Mine is a first gen so the turbos are replaced by two more cylinders but I daily mine as well. No complaints other than be sketched to enter some parking garages and she's got a big booty. Can tow a decent amount without issue, gets around most off road areas without too much hassle, it's not atrociously slow (just regular slow), and not to mention you can kidnap an entire family and fit them comfortably in the back seat.
