Anyone use a car cover (garage)

I'm probably stressing over this a little too much. But I'd prefer to try a car cover while my car is stored in my garage. Aside from the dust and debris that build up on it, I'm certain some of the dings/scratches have happened whilst parked there. With 2 kids and a lot of in and out by me, I've come to expect that. I'm trying to mitigate some of that.

I'm too nervous to pull the trigger on any of them on Amazon, but they're probably fine for a garage store. I'm likely just overthinking it. I see CS has one, but I'm not sure I want to drop $160+ on one.

Anyone have one in this type of situation that they can recommend?

my buddy picked up a generic one from a hardware store used it for years fit okay, even had it in the snow. his sentiment was for the money it was adequate but a truly fitted one like the CS one would be a better fit for best protection

this is really just for a garage park situation. maybe i'll try the cheaper ones before the potential 60% hike and see how it goes.

with Amazon and how they handle returns probably worth a shot for sure heck you could try a couple of them out.

The more expensive ones are better about letting moisture out from underneath shouldn't be something you need to worry about.

Hell yu could probably get a couple of moving blankets from harbor freight

i thought about using a king size fitted bed sheet. not sure it would fit tho. i wanted something that would hold in place. this one was only $40 so i'm not expecting the gold standard. should give me a good idea of what to expect tho.

I have a basic cloth cover for indoor storage. I think I bought it at CanadianTire. However I have occasionally moved my car outside in the past and have been afraid to recover the car afterwards without washing it again. It dosent take long to get a garaged car dirty tho if uncovered. The cloth is different from a bed sheet, fuzzy more like flannel sheets. If you are looking for safety from bumps and dings, you should consider an outdoor cover...they are thicker than the indoor type with multiple layers that breathe.

I use the OEM covers whenever possible, but for the LC500 i use a custom CoverCraft indoor cover, and it seems to breathe well and let out any moisture. Soft interior so I haven't seen any scratches yet.
