Interesting. A tried and true combination of the CX-7 rear end, speed6 drive train and speed3 suspension, but with some very meaningful parts added. Love the wheel speed trigger ring design. I was following your posts on CS a while ago when you had just started this up on your own car.
I've seen people swap the entire rear end of an RS onto the speed3, was this something you considered as well? Speed parts in good condition are a finite resource after all.
For the mid chassis bracket, is it designed as a brace that would take the place of say a tb performance chassis brace? Or is it designed like the Mazda OEM bracket that doesn't really do much in terms of bracing and just more of a shield? Could a chassis brace be used in addition to your bracket you've designed?
What is the AWD controller solution? Moreover, is the power split constant 50/50, or does it vary like a speed6 would? Or is this something you leave to the user to tune for?
Unfortunately not a product I can stomach buying right now, though if it were I definitely would get in. Is there any plans to release this in the future if the group buy goes well, or is it a one time buy in?
Sorry for the question bombing.
