car has been promised back to me again this week, come "hell or high water"
 
okay, so the shop Is officially closed until Tuesday. 4 hours of labor left they say.

Moslty because I like the banshee scream, but also due to KW's kits snapping cogged belts, and ease of install over the JRSC C38 Kit.

PS, car finished, taken out for test drive, clutch fork went kablewy. two more days.
 
I happen to know the JR guys well as I race with them which is why I asked. KW kits is well......

Didnt innovate used to sell the sprintex kit?
 
So we've deterimined that there was a tune issue, we recently got the car "running" but we're having an issue keeping it running between 1000 and 2400 rpm when cold. The mechanic blamed the supercharger, the tuner blamed the tune. Tuner was right.

that's supposed to be we're, not were (past tense), Tuner is back in town today, I'm going to call around 11:15 to see what they've got at that point.

Some further information:
Issue only occurs when you don't roll into it gently. So if you've gotta get going to merge into traffic, you're gonna have a bad time.
 
Hooray, its home! now I just gotta put 1000 miles on it and get the final tune done! and the flexfuel kit too.
 
Just vary your speed by staying out of top gear, speed up slowly and let it coast down slowly.
