That'd be sweet. Here's what we currently have:

Now compare this to a GTX3076 wheel; heck, even the blade count and design are completely different:

I've asked Bryan about this relative to the S3, and he said it really wouldn't help, so there'd be no point. You can tell just by the dull appearance alone on the S4's that he went the same route - normal wheels. The billet ones are much shinier and lighter in color. Honestly, I'm a little dubious about what Bryan said; the difference between a GT3071 compressor wheel and GTX3071 compressor is 10lbs/min (46 vs 56). What if a GTX 71mm wheel in an S3 got us up from about the 43 or so we're seeing to 50 or so? I figure we're more limited by the hotside, but even a few lbs/min would be helpful.

Now I know the guy knows turbos inside and out. But when I see charts like this, I can't help but think swapping from a Garrett GT wheel to a GTX wheel would increase max flow: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=40727288

Looking at some other s4 threads, seems like i am making more then most. I love meth!
It's a matter of IDCs, IMHO. We run out of injector at 370-380whp. Unless people are running supplemental fueling (PI or methanol), then they'll have to stop at that power level. That also happens to be the upper limit of reasonable stock-block safety, and about what our clutch can handle too, so many just stop there anyways.

Yea i agree, that us why i have picked to run meth over e85. With meth d10 nozzle i have only seen 92 idc peak. Leaving room for winter temps. I also have a 6 puc clutch.

Newest map has me spool to 21 psi by 3.7k. Floored it at 3.2k. So only 500 rpm to hit 21 psi. I would say thats not bad at all for this turbo.

Congrats! What are your ultimate power goals? How far were you able to go with the D10?

I was at about 90 idc but was getting some knock up top. I put 1 gal meth in the tank and it fixed it so going to try a bigger nozzle to see if it will do the same.

My power goal are pretty much were they are at now. 400ish/370-380tq. Log shows 60-100 in 4.6. Ill take that lol

Ahhh, so you're just going for extra octane. No ethanol in the mix, eh?
