What spring do you have in it that requires 35% WGDC?
On the EFRs, the wastegate flows so well that you need about 40% WGDC to get to 1PSI over spring...I don't feel like this is a bad thing.

I have a lot of things piling up at the moment.. need to sand down the primer and get the hood ready for vinyl wrap...
Are you applying paint before wrapping? Vinyl dosent adhere well to primer. Plus, If you paint it will need time to cure and offgas. 30-60d depending on paint type and application method.

So, a bit of an update...

- I added a yellow spring into the ewg along with the blue/black, so it's now at 17.4 psi, wgdc much lower now (found out the neat trick of blowing compressed air into the side port to compress the springs, very helpful when putting it back on!)

- I bought a new ac compressor since I found it leaking.. came with a condensor too (more food for the attic if i ever need it).. $286 on walmart! https://www.walmart.com/ip/AC-Compr...Mazda-Speed6-Mazdaspeed-6-2006-2007/681863189

- I see rust coming through my original fix of the hood, so going to go ham on it. I'm planning to get the whole top of the hood down to bare metal, treat the rust better, and do a 2k epoxy primer using a paint gun i've never used. This should go well! Afterward, i'll clean/tack it properly before attempting to vinyl wrap it again. I've been more thoroughly researching this one before buying anything, so any recommendations are welcome.

- Tune is still in progress!

Installed a new head unit (Kenwood Excelon KDC-x705), JBL-62c 6.75" component speakers into the front doors w/ external crossovers under the dash, and a single SSA XCON 12" subwoofer in a ported Khaotik Enclosure (tuned to 32hz) today. I put all the wires properly through the door jams (what a pain in the ass, like everything is), but still need to double-tape the passovers better, and put some bracing in the rear so the box doesn't bump into my fuel surge tank. I did keep all the wires well away from the tank, not trying to start a fire! I'll take some pics tomorrow.

FINE, pictures have been taken. Ignore the mess, it'll all be cleaned up once I get the car up and running again. I have parts/crap all over the place at the moment, and the seat was sitting in my garage for like 9 years. Again, PITA to install!View attachment 33936View attachment 33937View attachment 33938
You've got a very nice seat there, sir.

I can't help but notice, it appears you may be missing the other seat. Also, messy car bro. LoL jk. It's better than mine looks some days, and I'm not in the middle of a massive amount of work.... I just daily drive the thing lol

I cleaned it out quite a bit since those pictures, it was terrible... yet, starting to build back up again since i took all the stuff out of my trunk for the subwoofer box. And yes, I only have one sparco seat in, the passenger can ride in comfort! :D

Mine's a daily driver as well :x
