Building for the road course...again

Hey man!! Are you still running your car at the Time Attack/Mosport on Aug 24-25th? The son & I might come down to see some racing on the Saturday if you are there. Is there spectator stands at DDT, or just trackside at the wall? I can register, but I cant see admission anywhere.

Hey yea I’ll be at DDT August 24-25 for Ontario time attack. Spectators are free just walk on in. No ones gonna give you a hard time.

there are no stands really, just trackside by the wall but it’s not bad!
 
My old speed3 popped up for sale. Haven’t seen that car since I traded it in back in 2021.

Engines shot now. “Needs a cylinder 4 coil pack and has excessive blow by/oil consumption”. Classic.


Bunch of guys were shitting on buddy in one Mazda group just cause he really had no clue what he was talking about. Had the wrong turbo listed, couple other weird things. Really is a shame. That car was too mint. Ah well
 
haha SO i did comment on the post saying "oh man. This use to be a very very good car. Too bad."

The seller reached out to me. Turns out the dealership stole the AP i left(of course) and they told dude the car had a cobb OTS which is BS. The car had a FRESH PD tune and ran well. It made too much power for what it was lol.

I hid the AP in the passenger side map pocket hoping the new owner would find it but he told me there was no AP for the car.

He said he had it retuned by Justin(Freektune) but he said he wasnt on the ball with the datalogging so the tune kinda just stopped. He also told Justin the car had a 2871r which really it has a 3071r. It also has a 3.5" HTP intake which he listed as a cold air intake....he also did a VTCS delete which when i sold the car it had an OEM manifold with all the OEM junk still there.

He says in his ad the car doesnt idle well and throws a lean code. jeez

Seems to be a classic case of not knowing and a little bit of not caring. He told me he made that post to see if he could find more info about the car...which he bought in 2021. I dont buy that i think thats BS and he really does want to sell it but with a blown motor its worth maybe 5k CAD to the right buyer which would be no one cause we're all broke over here.

It really is a shame. That was a never ever wintered car, low mileage, CLEANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN as it came from the dealership. literally 0 cheap parts anywhere on that car. The stuff i left was all gold. The way she goes i guess
 
My old speed came up for sale a few months ago locally. The guy said it had a big oil leak which was probably the rear main. Either way I should have bought it, fixed it and resold it.
