Cheep oil pump

The internals looked different from the picture on the old place. Less gear meshage. Lumberjack posted the photo I think.

Hmm

and I was chasing PN#s on oemvehicle, it seem there is a rebuild option of sorts now. reading into the nomenclature abit, they ar selling the inner and outer gear separately now

So I ordered the F2GZ-6600-A but I received a F2GE-6600-AA. Anyone know if this is this going to work?

pics. Ebay seller said "The part number on the part is the engineering number. Ford uses the "Z" as there labeling system. You got the right part. I opened the box to take pictures."

Do you think I should return it? Here's the listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Ford-O...83.l10137.c10&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true

I wonder about others that have used F2GZ-6600-A. Did the part number match on the case?
Apparently it's for a 12-17 Ford Focus. I did some google searching and it also fits the 2014 ecoboost mustang: https://dalys.lt/en/autoparts/ford-usa/mustang-coupe-2-3-ecoboost-233-kw/oil-pump/5558783 and some others

I have a feeling they're all the same. But the Ford pump puts out more psi than the Mazda I read on here.

I guess the safest bet tho is to return it and buy from a Ford dealer.

Why are you looking for more pressure?

How much more are we talking Ford vs. Mazda pump? I haven't heard of oiling issues with the OEM Mazda pump, so is it worth the risk incase this pump is incompatible? I have purchased Ford parts for my mazda, and I have purchased Mazda parts that come in a Ford bag. But I don't know if I would chance it when there is this much work involved.

Understandable. Well I took the shipping label off and underneath it was the original label which shows it came from a Ford parts distribution center in GA. The Ebay seller also has pretty decent feedback and is selling a ton of Ford parts.. My educated guess is that its legit.

I guess we'll find out once I do the first start and spin all my bearings

Good afternoon friend, I am doing a basic rebuild of the engine of my speed 3, which includes changing metals, rings, seals, gaskets, etc.

buy pump
Ford's code: F2GZ-6600-A, which is recommended in some forums here.

When I arrive, I compare them and they are exactly the same physically, but I realized that the mazda oem has a cover with an open hole, while the Ford one has a closed hole, there will be some difference in its operation or it is only a matter of design, here I put some photosWhatsApp Image 2021-11-03 at 6.17.49 PM.jpeg

This thread was a great find as I'm about to begin assembly. I heard this was a viable option, and no surprise this thread popped up. Can anyone else speak to using this pump?

Well, in short, I would like to tell you that I installed this pump as it arrived in the reconstruction, at first I had doubts about that hole, but the truth is that it is only a question of design, I read more in another forum about this detail in the Construction of this pump provides a little more oil pressure to the lubrication system, which is quite good at least for engines already built or repaired, so I put it as is in my 2009 speed 3, and the truth is that I have had it for 1 year working without any problem, well I hope it continues like this, they really are a quite viable and economical option for toxic speed, regards
