Convince Me to go e85

All of my maps from mid 2011 to the present have included a lean-burn cruise region. These maps have also included an aggressive top-end. So far, the car is still running great at 144k miles, some 90k after I started running my lean-burn maps.
 
I use lean burn as well targeting about 16:1 between 0.40 and 0.60-ish calculated load on my 93 "travel" map. I can swing about 33 on the highway cruising at about 78 MPH on a hot summer day. It definitely makes a subtle difference in fuel economy, probably a solid 1-2 MPG. Just reduces throttling losses a little bit. E85 and methanol mixes top out at around 25 MPG on the highway in my limited experience.

I only use distance divided by gallons to calculate my economy as my Pu fuel gauge doesn't seem to be very consistent.

On my 3rd tank of E30 mix I got 22.47 MPG. So I ran 3 tanks of the E30 mix and my average MPG is 21.29 MPG, which is not bad at all. I was averaging 21-23 MPG on my 93 tune, so relative to that, 21.29 MPG with E30 is pretty good in my case.

As a tip to newbies who might want to try E85 and are worried about tracking their mixes. You can use Fuelly to track your fill-ups and add notes regarding your ethanol mixes. You can use an ethanol calculator to estimate the current ethanol content in your car, then note that down along with how many gallons of E, in the notes section for your fill-up in Fuelly. Doing it this way, I am able to calculate what my estimated ethanol content is for the latest fill-up, by looking up what the estimated ethanol content was on my last fill-up.
