Corksport turbo for stock 2007 with 160k?

To steer your decision tree on costs ..VersaTune is not really useful unless you buy the more expensive version. The free logging only is a good option. I started there and then went with the next step flashable tunes, but with the fact you want a larger turbo you will likely need the full package one. At that price point, a AP is really the same price. More tuners support AP so if you don't feel comfortable tuning yourself, and most people will recommend getting a AP because of that.

Just the kinda guidance I'm looking for. Thx much.

I cannot leave an Accessport in my car...my neighborhood to sketchy. Hence I figured Versatune. But I dont have time for tuning myself and price may make Accessport more worthwhile.

The VersaTune OTS are really for exhaust, fueling, throttle plate changes. If you do anything to intake, no OTS VersaTune Tunes are able to change the MAF to reflect that. With your choice of turbo you Will at some point change intake plumbing. if that helps your choices. You would then require the full price package.

...which would be similar in price to the Accessport...

You don't have to leave it plugged in, you install it then you can pull the cable and unit out until you do some monitoring. Mine doesn't get plugged in often for that very reason.

ya...for sure. Both power door locks stopped working which makes it worse. I forget to manually lock the doors all the time...

Lol that'll do it, so either way whatever system you use you'd flash the tune then keep the device inside the house unless you were going to you use it.

Freektune and purpledrank support both so and versatune. I don't know who doesn't support versatune but I wouldn't go with anyone but the two above

For what it’s worth, I never leave mine in the car. I rarely even use it. I bought it for the tune (and any subsequent tune updates, which I’ll be doing soon). Occasionally I use it for logging or checking that things are ok.
