Wait is it the 20th or 21st?Hi all I'm a new member I live in Australia I have a mazda 6 just done timing chains I have the engine on tdc with cams and crank but crank sensor dont line yp with tooth 20 I'm lost
Sorry I have apparently been out of the mazdaspeed thoughts too long. Lol I second posting a picture
I'm so puzzled is there different pullys with different numbers of teeth??
Is this car a mazda 6 or a mazdaspeed 6? It appears your teeth are much larger than the ones on a mazdaspeed 6 crank pulley after looking at pictures from mine.I'm so puzzled is there different pullys with different numbers of teeth??
So this is the correct pulley sizing but the timing tooth section that is pressed on is wrong? Nice... Looks like someone sold someone the wrong pulley here unfortunately... If a car hasn't been driven or started then a guy could theoretically take that pulley off and just retorque the new one on right??Congrats on your purchase of a Mazdaspeed crank pulley (apparent part number L328 11 400 A; tooth count is 58-2 if memory serves) that's been customized with a Duratec 2.0 tone wheel (36-1 from the looks of it).
