Cranks, fires then dies after rebuild

Well, I was encouraged to get a replacement pcm. Unfortunately, Flagship couldn't get it, Mazda discontinued it. No one else seems to have it that I googled and was listed "in stock".

I haven't touched the car since the last posting. I'm going to try reflashing and poking around in the pcm tonight. Run more data logs. Try a couple of off the wall things with the maf setup a d see what happens.

Anyone know of other sources for pcm? My number is l3bg-18-881a and correct by Vin. Is there a suppression or crossreference to another number? The dealer didn't have any good answers and won't reflash my existing pcm.
 
No updates yet. I'm still struggling to get a pcm. Mynt said they don't have it, but are hoping to have it Monday.

Reached out to the mazdaspeed person on Instagram and they had one that was close in number and is supposed to be compatible according to Mynt. That should ship today and then I can at least see if I can connect to it with forscan and write to it.

I've reached out to Corksport who is also looking into it.
 
I am glad to announce that the speed is up and running like it should.

I'm disappointed to admit the replacement injectors were the cause.

I sent my oem oens out for cleaning and flowcheck to keep as a back up while I assembled the engine. Thank you to Injector Experts for the work.

Over this holiday weekend, I grew frustrated at everything not making sense and decided to put as much of the original equipment that I had replaced back on the car. The injectors were the last component. So I took the intake off, replaced seals and reinstalled the injectors. Car runs awesome now.

When they say OEM for parts for these cars, they mean it. I will be continuing my upgrade journey later!

I'll pull out my rockauto invoice tonight.

They don't list them anymore, they just have the Beck arnley remans now. They had another one that was a little cheaper. Guessing I probably now why they aren't listed anymore. I planned to call them later this week.
