Curious intermittent vibes

Strange enough, pulled the tram mount. All good.
I'll change the a.c. Clutch bearing next, and then the old ass clutch.
On a side note, I think I may have an issue with the half shaft bearing. I can grab the passenger side axle where it goes into the carrier bearing and it has a crap load of slop.

Dumb vid didn't upload right . basically the part of the axle that goes into the support bearing wiggles in a orbital pattern, in and out is fine. this doesn't seem right at all to me. Just don't want to spend $300 on that bearing if its normal

I cant watch the video at work, but this sounds like possibly the issue @HawkeyeGeoff was having at one point. Geoff, what did that end up being?

I got this on my 2nd gen pretty much stock with bolt ons and motor mounts. I ended up contributing it to the dual mass flywheel osscilating on engine decels knowing what I know now in my current job.

My half shaft ended up not being the cause of my problems. @Maisonvi; my problem was the reverse knocking....but it seemed to have more to do with the stiffness of all my motor mounts. Once I switched to an OEM PMM this completely stopped no matter how hard I try to get it to happen. There just was not enough slack. But that's a different issue.

OP, you say this happens during cruising as well? If you are touching the throttle and it goes away I would almost mens warehouse that it's the DMF.

Well, we shall find out. I have a new clutch on the way. When I was stock mounted it would do it on a rare occasions, usually after a hard run.
