Might be able to have it welded and use a sleeve, that's a question for a machine shop. Unfortunately I don't know any in Berta

That is a gnarly chunk missing. Weld and sleeve, or junk it and get a new block.

Depends on what your goal is. Are you just going to stuff factory rods in there? Then as long as it's not in the area swept by the piston I would consider just running it. If you are going to full build I would address it

I have got Manley Hbeam rods, Mahle 4032 pistons, king main and rod bearings, arp main studs. Hoping that the machine shop will have some good advice for me!!
The chip is very small on the bottom of the bore.
Not in the ring land at all, just on the fence on what decision I have to make.

I took my block to the machine shop for them to inspect the lower chip. When the shop owner inspected it he said that there will not be a problem because it is where the bottom of the skit would be and that I am gyro reborebit out to 88mm.
Got my block back from the machine shop and looks great was about to put the pistons in had ordered King rod bearings form Rockauto through there pull downs for the car, engine and that it is turbocharged.i picked the CR4507XP 50mm journal and guess what they are to small for the crank. Took the crank to the machine shop for measurements and sure enough I needed KING Bearings CR4604XP for a 52mm journal size crank.
Waiting till the right ones come in now.
Cheers
