the stuff in the video though is what I had before on my truck and its definitely NOT foam.. its a pretty heavy duty mat of some sort, very durable.

Yeah, looks like it got good reviews from people.
Though even at Lowe's price, dollar per pound, it's not that much cheaper than specialized deadening stuff - like 70% or so.

I have been really happy with NVX speakers price / performance. I had re-audio too , very similar. Silk Dome tweeters do a nice job in a car.
