Endgame setup- BW s257sxe

If he has a 21lb spring in it and is only seeing 23 psi at 55% wgdc that seems pretty low. A 21 lb spring should "in theory" make up to 42lbs of boost before it can't hold anymore. He should not have to request 100% wgdc to get the turbo to spool quickly to spring pressure. It does look like the tune could be cleaned up a little but that is usually icing on the cake unless it is way off "which I would doubt with his tuner" Are you sure the wastegate is not leaking boost? Have you bench checked it with compressed air to see it open and close?
I have not bench tested the EWG yet. I can confirm it was leaking during a 32psi boost leak test. Unless I pinched the line going to it, and even then it was bleeding pressure slightly, but that seems to be expected and normal.

Replacement ebcs fixed it. Tried to take a wot log in 3rd and had absolutely no traction lol saw 34psi. It's time to rent a dyno and finish this tune. I officially have a public service announcement: do not buy the CS ebcs. The bullet Mac valve design is complete garbage. I had 2 blow out seals already. Stick with an original MAC valve design.

Just had that same thing unfortunately happen to me. Forgot to prime before start, ran 100 miles and a spinny rod bearing greeted me yesterday morning. Thankfully I used aluminum bearings so we'll pull the pan and check them all this week. Hopefully it's a bearing slap with Kings and call it a day.

Damn man. I'm so sorry to hear that. Do you have an oil pressure gauge? It's a must for these cars. Specially for built engines. I made sure to prime the shit out of this build

Agreed!

Oil Pressure and Temp gauges were a must have when I went built motor.

Everything I've read about these kinds of things has made me a bit paranoid!

By this do you mean like, cranking it without fuel?

Yes sir. Gas pedal to the floor to disable fuel, PI unplugged, crank it, pause, crank it, pause. Helps to have an oil pressure gauge already to monitor pressure.

Why unplug pi it doesn't inject until u hit 300g/s anyway right?

Tomorrow is the Dyno day. I'm nervous as hell, but my body is ready. The car is dialed in and running absolutely delicious.

Side note: I've been preoccupied with our newest member to the family. She has no name yet. Help us decide lol

Taking the plugs out made a HUGE difference when I was priming my motor!

Trying to prime plugs in was brutal, battery was not able to keep up even hooked up to a big charger.
