I bought my gen2 with ts-5 wheels. Ive been having an issue with the abs system that I havent had time to fix or investigate and last Friday I was breaking in a curve and ended up losing control and the car spun around backwards and in the process the rubber came off the rim of the passenger front wheel causing some damage to the lip. I am looking to get it fixed or replaced but I'm not sure about the offset and I forgot to measure while I had the wheel off. I have searched for quite some time to pinpoint exact information on how to read the stamped markings on the hub. Mine shows the inset stamped with 45 near it, and above it is 38 with an arrow. A post on reddit said this is misleading and that the 38 is the safe machining level you can machine the hub pad down to achieve 38 offset, so that makes the offset more like 33. Does anyone have any idea if this I true? I can't find any wheels for sale that are 45 offset. 38 is more likely, and the enkei catalog doesn't show 45 in the 114.3 lug spacing. If all else fails I will attempt to measure the backpacking. Although the rubber is mounted so its more difficult.
