When I first got my speed I remember saying I wouldn't mod my car much. What a load of crap that turned out to be lol. It's been a long time coming but the big swap finally happened. Over a year ago I had the guys at Relentless Customs build me a motor. I believe it's one of the last they made before they closed shop. It's taken me a while due to life being complicated and health issues but I've recovered well and with help the motor is in and the car is running.

Build sheet as the car is now
Bnr s4 v2
Weisco piston
K1 rods
Ported head
Internally balanced
Balance shaft delete
Fidanza flywheel
Luk clutch
Cpe safe seals
Cobb 3 port
Htp 3" intake
Corksport top mount intercooler
Cnt turboback exhaust
Forge v1 bypass valve
Autotech fuel pump internals
3 bar map
Egr and tb coolant delete

I think that's it so far as the engine goes. Car has a lot of other stuff as can be seen in my Sig. Currently the car is being tuned by Freektune on 93 and next will be e33. Base tune the car is as fast as it was with a bnr s3, e33, and stock downpipe fully tuned... 330ish fwhp.

Due to recovering from chemo and wanting the car lowered onto the motor I had a shop help me get everything in and running. It hasn't been smooth lol. Ebcs wasn't wired right, slave cylinder went out, wrong clutch got installed, had a massive boost leak and I'm currently diagnosing some smoke from the exhaust, I suspect my diy egr delete might be letting coolant in the exhaust system...

Regardless I fixed all that shit and the car is finally running good and once the smoking is address the car should be close to sorted. As I tune and make more changes I'll update this thread. For now pics!

So update time. The smoking turbo died in a glorious way, compressor wheel meeting housing and filling the motor with metal. The pistons and head were messed up so I had to pull the head to have it gone through and put in new pistons and rings. Did it as a pop n drop build in my garage and it took two months to finish. Finally got the car together and it wouldnt start. Turned out a harness connector was damaged and with that resolved the car ran. For 15 miles. It was running rough past half throttle too. I had an electrical short which I traced back to a bad coil. With the coil fixed the car ran but rough. I replaced the plugs and finally she runs good! Two hundred miles on the new build so far. And I found out the car has manley rods and pistons not weiscos.

BTW the turbo died from the ebcs being hooked up wrong at the dealership so the turbo over boosted and burnt up the thrust bearing. Had to do the job myself in the end to have it done right. I know these cars pretty well now lol. Ill post pics when I can.

Your car looks low. Did you do the unthinkable?

Let me know when you decide to do it. We can have your car up in the air, and back on the ground within an hour. Maybe 2, depending on how much anal is involved during the ghey.
