I asked the developer how they calculate those figures and he said they don’t release that information but that I should be sure to have all of the parameters for the car inputted, including ‘brake specific fuel consumption’. Does anyone know what I could put in for that?
Yes I recall reading that in the FAQ
I’m not in any rush. Part of the reason I emailed him was because I had just noticed a boost leak—there was a little bit of oil on the underside of the boost hose/pipe connecting the intercooler and throttle body (no oil on the turbo side or in the intercooler itself). I replaced it and there’s no more oil, so I’m guessing I was losing some boost there. The car is slightly faster now too. So that’s the other part of asking him about a touch up tuning.
