Fuel injector comparability

Hi, this is my first post on here. I'm on my second Mazdaspeed 3 (Mazda 3 MPS actually as I'm in the UK).
I Just love these cars.
I have a bad injector on my 2010 2nd Gen car. I have sourced a set of injectors from a 1st Gen Mazda 3 MPS to get cleaned and refurbished to put in my car, but am a bit worried now as Google AI insists that 2nd Gen injectors are different, have a higher flow rate than Gen 1 injectors and will not work.
ALL the other research I have done suggests the injectors are the same for Gen 1 and Gen 2.
I would be really grateful if someone could confirm this.

Ive been fucking with these cars since 2012, helped gen 1 and gen 2 bro's with their cars over the years, blah blah.

In all that time Ive never heard of a difference in injectors. The injectors themselves are the same in gen 1 and gen 2 motors.

Same for the fuel rail, relief valve, and pressure sensor. All that is the same too.

Gen 1 had a foam baffle between the injectors and the manifold, to quite down the ticking sound. Maybe that confused the AI into thinking there is a difference?!

Thanks. Really appreciate your help. Never trust AI!
