Hi, have you met Lilith?

Well that sucks. Time to throw am obscene amount of money at it and make it go fast!

I believe that is the plan now, which, makes this an even longer time frame before she runs. To take advantage of this, it gives me time to deep clean the interior and repair some other things.

However, I am frustrated about it. But meh.

Update:

I sourced another motor through work (wrecking yard) from a 2012 with a 171k on it. Compression is 145-150 across the board, checked timing and inspected leaks at the injector seals. Looks fairly clean. All checks out.

On the path to driving this car finally.

Some issues preventing starting this thing:
I got a used CST4 (missing the banjo bolt) so need to source that.)
All three OEM clutches I currently have are... Junk to say the least. :/
I have four transmissions right now two for MS6, a Juan and a Pu

The Juan needs shift fork pads. The Pu needs a new housing. (Will get pictures of these this weekend for upload). At this moment, I am going to just put the PU guts into the Juan housing to get the car running. Loads of work still, but nothing I can't handle.

Realistically I have three cars worth of running gear and accessories to pillage parts from. Two Juan's and a Pu, I should be able to get this car going without much more effort.

I really just want this car to move on it's own power so I can evaluate how I'm going to move forward. The ultimate goal is to build the motor and transmission, but I just want to drive this thing and do it as... Dare I say, cheaply as possible at this time.

Found some M12-1.25x25 at the Homo depo, got three tries to fuck up a home made banjo bolt lol. Also picked up some studs and nuts from Fastenal for the turbo and DP. New Napa belt, forgot plugs... Idiot. Got hose clamps, and a couple add a fuses. Still need a blind plug for the EGR tube.

Good shopping today. Still have to get plugs... Then get this transmission assembled.

OEM Juan trans that was originally in the car already opened and needs stripped so I can put the guts from the Pu (bad case) trans inside the other case. It's definitely not an end of the world issue, but I refuse to trust it.

Here we go, better get ready boys.

Honestly if it wasn't for being within an hour of my entire immediate family and within about four of 90 percent of my extended family I would move to Montana I have been there a bunch and really like it.

I should also add that I actually like my whole family

I don't mind my family, but i love the mountains more.

now if i can just get this car to run... that would be great

A little update:

haven't touched the car since last update. This weekend I may have either dropped a valve or burned a hole in one of the cylinders on my Cummins, making it a choo choo train with a bad attitude. Which... that repair may push Lilith to the side yet again. But we shall see. I'll get you some pictures this weekend once I pull the injectors.
