Update:
I sourced another motor through work (wrecking yard) from a 2012 with a 171k on it. Compression is 145-150 across the board, checked timing and inspected leaks at the injector seals. Looks fairly clean. All checks out.
On the path to driving this car finally.
Some issues preventing starting this thing:
I got a used CST4 (missing the banjo bolt) so need to source that.)
All three OEM clutches I currently have are... Junk to say the least. :/
I have four transmissions right now two for MS6, a Juan and a Pu
The Juan needs shift fork pads. The Pu needs a new housing. (Will get pictures of these this weekend for upload). At this moment, I am going to just put the PU guts into the Juan housing to get the car running. Loads of work still, but nothing I can't handle.
Realistically I have three cars worth of running gear and accessories to pillage parts from. Two Juan's and a Pu, I should be able to get this car going without much more effort.
I really just want this car to move on it's own power so I can evaluate how I'm going to move forward. The ultimate goal is to build the motor and transmission, but I just want to drive this thing and do it as... Dare I say, cheaply as possible at this time.
