Update:

I will start with the fact that I got extremely excited as I got closer to starting the car. And did not take as many pictures. The harness seems to have done the trick on the idle issue. Though the ECU is now in question along with the fuel rail pressure sensor.

Started with the DW300 fuel pump and new filter, I know the other one I put in for a temp deal was ok, but this is a much better option.

Then I realized that I need to plug the EGR port on the intake manifold, so I had to run into town to get a bung and ended up cutting the end off the EGR tube and welding a smaller alan headed bolt into it.

She runs, and I just realized I didn't take pictures past this point...

But she runs. Everything seems to be ok. all the lights are off minus the p0192 code.

I metered everything again to confirm that its not a wiring issues. I tried two other fuel rail pressure sensors. Two show 0 wether they are in the rail or not. One in the rail shows nothing and not in the rail shows 700.

So, I need to pick up a new Fuel rail pressure sensor and I am starting to think the ECU might be having some issues as well. I may need to program my back up to see if that changes anything.

I have a ton of Milwaukee, I started with Ryobi years ago, what fucking trash those are. working on the car or house is always an excuse. I have almost two complete sets of impacts and drills, one set for in the house, one in the garage and a 3/8's gun for the truck.

THE LUBE BOY! Makes the push loc fittings easy.

DeWalt makes ok tools. Their larger impacts just don't compare. With work, I've seen dudes destroy pretty much all other manufacturers, leave DeWalt and it's battery outside in the snow with temps below 0 for a winter and see what happens. Guy left a Milwaukee 1/2" out over a cold snap. Found it buried in snow and ice. Picked it out. Brought it inside, still using it today.

The quality of the tools in the end, personally and from my experience with working in a wrecking yard where everyone destroys all their tools. Nothing compares to a Milwaukee on day in day out use and abuse.

IMO of course.
 
Wehn I was working construction twenty years ago Milwaukee was just more expensive for the same tool and I don't even think they had battery tools at that time. The only Milwaukee tool anyone had was the right angle drill.

But now I have a buddy that works for black and decker so I get DeWalt at wholesale prices. Most tools cost me less that the on sale Ryobi version makes my decision easy

100% cannot disagree with that logic. Price point is a huge factor for most.
 
Warranty was the big factor for me back in 2008-09 when I was buying a bunch of stuff for work. Milwaukee was 5 years and DeWalt was only 3. Also from my experience with Milwaukee warranty has been outstanding.

Roku, I agree price point is a big consideration as well as intended use. Am I making a living with this tool or is it for my weekend escapades?

Warranty is pretty nice. I use them for work and play. We one of the tool trucks that sells them with unlimited warranty. The truck will replace them if they fail. Pretty nice deal.

But yeah, reliable and performance are huge for me.

Not just Milwaukee. Tools in general brake on a weekly basis. Snap on, Mac, Matco, Pittsburgh, craftsman and so on. They all break. Cheap china shit from the dollar store. I've seen them all working in a wrecking yard.

Part of that is having shop tools that get loaned out to people who don't care because they don't own the tool. So if it breaks it's not their money. Good warranty helps keep that cost down.

I personally have not had a Milwaukee tool break yet. But have seen them take some serious abuse and still function. DeWalt too. I feel those two brands are the top of all the others for sure. Just seen DeWalts not be able to perform as well.
 
That's what I have usually seen is user error more than anything else. Though in construction we did tend to wear out the triggers on some of the drills but they were a five dollar part and ten minutes to swap so I'm ok with that
 
Update:

After some more trouble shooting, reading and studying, finally got the car to idle again. The only codes now are:

P2122 Accelerator Pedal position (APP) sensor no. 1 circuit low input
P0192 Fuel rail pressure sensor low input

Everything else is gone and the car idles. I am going to have to meter the FRPS again and check for power as well as the pedal. I have now tried four different fuel pressure sensors, two pedal assemblies and four throttle bodies. Replaced the entire engine harness and have got to this point. I have never been one to really read logs or know exactly what is going on, but learning.

So here we go to another day of trouble shooting to figure out WTF is going on.

I'm just gonna continue to take my frustrations out on other things and take a fuckin break this week or longer.

But I did again... Test the harness... Discovered for sure the fuel rail pressure sensor is bad. 0 for 4. I bought one locally to find out that it's not that simple. Found one that's coming from Finland. That is the right part number.

As well as @Raider and a couple others helped isolate this issue. So stupid... There is no way only one possible option is available.

So ordered that sensor. Until then I'm hands off the car right now.
