I believe he does too but modification to the cold pipe for the manifold. He also has the FJ built under piping (hard pipes) I believe waiting to go onPretty sure he had a Cobb piping kit at the time, not positive though
We are going to trade pipes for a day and see what happens. I'm likely gonna connect my meth and flash the near 40psi tune and see what happens.
JBR;3025130 said:The piping was tested at 40 psi for continuous periods of time much longer than a wot pull. Burst rated at 150 psi. We haven't seen any problems for the two years they've been available.
HP is not effected nor is acceleration. Lag is increased a a wee bit.
The graph is not really apples to apples. Two different turbos and likely two different tunes.
We've been tracking our shop Mazdaspeed 3 for two years with no issues.
Lifetime warranty = nothing to be concerned about.
So the lag is minimal. .
There is more to spool than turbo size. Take the EFRs for example; you wouldn't expect a 500 WHP turbo to spool faster than a K04, but it does.Tho, wouldn't you expect a BNRs4 to spool faster than a HTA3586?
