Leaky Injector Problem need Help

Chasing a leaky injector issue causing long cranks and stuttering on first start up. Has a brand new returnless port injection setup with corksport im and fuel rail, id 1050x. After shut off and waiting about 10 min, pulled sparks plugs and found 3 cylinders are getting gas into the combustion chamber after shut off. Replaced all direct injectors, replaced the new id1050x. Still same issue. Completely disconnected the port injection and bypassed the corksport fuel rail and problem is resolved. What is going on here? Is there a problem with my brand new injectors? Is the returnless setup problematic?? I need help, im lost

Where exactly is it leaking, between PI rail and manifold or between injectors and PI rail? When you removed the last set how did the injector seals look and seals on rail to manifold?

If seals are getting chewed up could be a finish issue on the rail, I had that on my OEM fuel rail edges had corroded a little and even with lube it was shredding seals, hit it with a high grit wet sand cleaned it up and no longer had leaking between rail and injector.

Highly recommend using some silicone lubricant when putting in the injectors, super lube makes a fantastic o-ring lube

There is no external leak, the injector dynamics 1050x are dripping into the cylinders after shut off. I replaced them with a brand new set and getting the same thing. Confirmed with the replaced injectors that they are in fact leaking from the pintle when under 20psi, so i could only imagine what they are like at 60psi. What are the chances that i have gotten two sets of bad injectors? Just seems wild to me

Bump.... I think I am possibly having this exact same issue. Haven't ran my injectors yet but they are installed and fuel is running through my pi rail then into my hpfp. Car has to be cranked a lot before it sill fire and didn't start until installing my pi setup.

Can something go in place of injectors to keep my rail from leaking or should I just run some fuel hose from my firewall to the hpfp temporarily? Car is now currently stuck at work until Tuesday and have to fix it and get it home Tuesday after work.

I would suggest electrically disconnecting the PI injectors (at the injector) and see if it's still an issue. Could be a controller problem.

Mine are disconnected and issue is still there. I just pressure tested my injectors with 80psi and it isn’t leaking air.

Got a log of my issue. You can see how long I’m cranking by looking at rpm. To me it looks like a fuel pressure issue. Can anyone confirm?

Fixed it! The corksport fuel injector holes were a hair too small. When installed the injector tips were being squeezed causing them all to leak at idle and after shutoff. I assume once the motor got hot and everything expanded they leaked bad. Anyways I drilled out the ports with a 17/64 bit and reinstalled the injectors and no more long cranks and no more -20 stft at idle.

I just looked at the instructions for this yesterday so I'm confident in saying that 17/64 is what they say to use in the first place.
What size did you use?

I ordered it with the holes pre drilled after I contacted them they said if I wasn’t happy with the fitment I could use a 17/64 to make it slightly bigger. So I’m not sure what they used
