Littleloogy's ADD & Has a Build Diary

Yea i guess the most reliable route would be to find a mazda6 wagon and convert that. Ive thought a lot about it they are just hard to find where i live. Theres always so many part out speed6s on fb right now.

I would need only one thing to make that happen. I'll give you a hint. Its green...

Yea be nice to find a long lost buried treasure somewheres

I buried a time capsule in 3rd grade at my old elementary school. I should go do it up, might be a few valuables in there. Like my GI Joe action figures and my slinky.

I paced an order with Edge. I Ordered a SB S3 endurance clutch, new pilot bearing, and a new slave The other slave was leaking fluid everywhere and was the old style.

At least after I get the clutch and pilot bearing installed can finally mount the transmission and engine.

Stupid Bearing puller! Of course you don't fit. That would be too easy.

So much for just renting a tool.

I am searching my wire harnesses for unused factory ran wires that I can use to power things in the cab or send a signal to a relay. I am going to guess that my most favorable part of wire tracing and repinning will be when I'm done. Talk about time consuming. Perfect project for the ADD mind though.

Now on to more frustrating stuff.
I could not remove the axle out of the hub to save my life, so I ended up taking the whole hub off with the axle inside to do the CV boot repair.

Found a crease on the undamaged boot. I'm having difficulty getting the crease out. It must have been this why for a while, the boot seemed to have developed a memory. Any idea how to get the kink out without damaging the boot?

[doublepost=1489289984][/doublepost]The day ended on a happy note. Got the transmission mounted all by my lonesome. I just lifted that SOB up and it went in like butter. Well, thats not entirely accurate. Took me about 2 hours to get the hoisted engine lined to be squared up with the tranny. About 10 degrees pitched down, and had to correct about 4 degrees left tilt. Once i had that set then the transmission slid in like butter. I actually enjoyed myself.
