Lost, help!

To be honest I don't remember what fixed it. A I did a bunch of different stuff, and B I've had so many problems I don't remember what fixed what at this point. Having the injectors cleaned and new plugs was one of them. How do you have your cans run? Have you done a compression/leak down test? Do you have upgraded injector seals, or are they stock?

Things I’ve checked off already:
- checked all ignition related items, that’s good
- compression is great (fresh rebuild, all cylinders near 165psi)
- leak down test also great
- inspected engine w/boroscope everything is good and clean
- injectors are all new and tested with new seals (corksport), rings, etc.

I’m stumped and frustrated as I’m fairly new to the platform. So any help is appreciated.

Oh and all new ngk’s gapped to spec.

Is it a noticeable misfire? Running and idling rough, or are you just getting a code?

At idle it’s completely fine. After having the battery unplugged for so long to switch the injectors out(waiting on delivery), the code went away and didn’t come back up until I went to test drive around neighborhood. Idle was stable

Hopefully someone else may be able to chime in. I feel like mine was a dirty injector. Is this the first time the seals are being used? Did you double check torque specs on the injectors? It may be worth fogging the intake, but im not sure. A vacuum leak would cause a rough idle. How is fuel pressure? What are your plugs gapped to?

Got it fixed!

I think the harness for coil 2 was loose. I disconnected them all and reconnected them. Sure enough, misfire went away! It’s always the little things. Appreciate the help though. Now to get started with my PD Tune :aplastao:
