Mazdaspeed6 OEM strut and shock recommendations?

I'm looking for recommendations for front struts and rear shocks for my MS6. I like the ride and handling of the OEM parts and am looking for best source for OEM parts or similar. With 163k miles, is there any reason to replace the original springs? I do not want to lower the car.

When I did my suspension I stuck with the stock Bilsteins.. Coil spring replacement would depend on what condition yours are in. Is suspension sagging at all? usually it's the rear end.. I don't know where you'd find stock Mazdaspeed 6 springs though. They are stiffer than normal Mazda 6 springs. You're aftermarket listings are likely going to be for stock Mazda 6 springs.

Did you purchase your car brand new? As a note, if that is your car in the pic, you are going to end up riding higher than current. At 163k miles your springs have settled by this point. But the car in your profile pic definitely looks lowered.

Yes, that's my car in the photo. I'm the original owner and I don't plan to ever sell the car, even if it gets retired from daily driver duty. Springs have never been changed. I didn't consider the possibility that the springs have sagged. I'll have to look at some old photos. Thanks for the tip, I would be disappointed if I changed the springs with stock replacements and then it looks like an offroad vehicle. Maybe I should consider new lowering springs, with a small drop to keep the present look the same?

OK, thanks for the recommendation. INVALID below suggests the springs have settled, which may be true. It doesn't look saggy in the back to me, but I'll take another look. Thanks for the tip about ensuring that any new springs are not for the regular Mazda 6.

Bilstein b6 should be close. Its Listed as a sport upgrade for other cars on that chassis.

+1 for Bilstein

They will firm up the ride a slight bit, without seeming harsh. You will like the characteristics that bilstein valving improves on. Less squat, dive, and sway.
