Dang, that sucks. I've bought lots of parts from fellow Speed brothers, but I personally wouldn't buy used internals for reasons just like this. They're such precision parts, and you have no way of knowing if they were installed/un-installed in a non-damaging manner. Wouldn't want them to seize and mess up a cam, or something worse, either.

Yeah i got my AP from the old form sales board, and its been working ever since. Just bad luck on the item really... I think i would agree with you guys and fp internals are probably best new
