Need some light

I'm getting a P0012 code after engine has been built. Variable has been replaced new with timing chain and new guides. New engine oil pump. Engine has been put in timing. The first P0012 code was a camshaft over-retarded bank 1, we replaced the vvt solenoid brand new and erased the code. Everything was good until today when the dumb ass code P0012 came back again but this time it states PCM no description available. Has anybody had issues with there ecu after engine built?
I'm thinking of selling the dam car, its getting frustrating spending money and money and everytime something new pops up!

Check the wiring to the appropriate sensors

Check for metal shavings on the crank position sensor

Thanks for writing and sharing some light here. We repositioned the ecu in front of battery because of intake size so that being said do you think thermal heat might also cause a reading?
Also can vibration be an issue with the ecu?

Let me know if you see something wrong here that might cause PCM code
