That sucks man. I have heard great things about his stuff, then sometimes just stuff looks like a Monday hangover. I think if finessed, it could be an option. But of course, the demands for proof it works is going to be there too.

Wow that looks awful, but also looks like raider said it could have been ok. If he has used different tube and a few other changes it might have been ok.

HUGE flange, shoddy attempt to fit a circular pipe onto a rectangle port opening at said flange by bending circular pipe into an oval. I don't understand this manifold....maybe if it had port injections, but still. Russell makes some nice looking exhaust manifolds, but wtf man.

But wait.....theres more. Since I have taken it this far, here are the rest of the bullshit details.
1.) I paid for this before christmas. He promised me a professionally completed manifold and cold piping by January 1st. I received it the first week of February.
2.) He busted off a tap while finishing the throttle body holes. Instead of drilling it out and fixing it the right way, he just welded a fucking plate over it to cover it up and retapped the new plate.

Not giving him any excuses for sending that out the door, but that's like his second one he made right? I would expect quality to come up as he perfects his methods for making them. Like I said, not giving him any excuses. That shouldn't have left his door. Looks like he needs a little more practice before selling these.

I have seen a few of his exhaust manifolds online and they all look pretty good but I've seen a few reports of figment issues. This just tops it off. He definitely should have drilled out the broken tap and at least responded to your concerns.

The main reason I wanted to buy one from him is because his exhaust manifolds had beautiful welds on them. Did he ship it to China for the welding???

Yeah. It wasn't purchased from him though, it was purchased from derek13p for like $600. Its a topmount T3 44mm EWG. Except the fucking compressor housing hits the EWG flange, so it won't even work without the EWG on there, let alone with one. It looked cool, and derek13p said it would fit on a 3 fine, just was too tight on a 6. Of course I sat on it for a year before I attempted to install it, which was too late to fight though paypal. I messaged him and let him know with pics and such...bro didn't even respond. chump. I get that I waited too long though, my fault totally.
