P2096 code mostly stock

Corksport TMIC, K&N air intake, Cobb Catback exhaust are the only mods on the car right now. I’ve read this code can be the result of many things. Any suggestion on where to start troubleshooting?

Year/Make/Model: 2011 MS3
Mileage: 107500k
Location:SF Bay Area CA
Concern: CEL and P2096 code
DTC's: P2096 Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean Bank 1
Modifications: Corksport TMIC, K&N cold air intake, Cobb Catback exhaust.
ECU/Tuning Software: Stock

Is the concern intermittent? CEL and code just came up. My fuel tank was near empty so I waited to see if that may play any role but after a refuel and was able to test with OBD2, code remains.
Can you duplicate the concern? No

Ended up being a software update needed. Took it to a dealer to have them update the software.

I took it to a local shop as I’ve been busy with work and my house to try and troubleshoot it. Shop said it was the o2 sensor and then the code came back two days later. Then said it was the fuel/air sensor. Same thing, code came back two days later.

I should have taken it to the dealer from the beginning but the local shop has taken good care of my Tacoma in the past and the local Toyota dealer burned me in the past. Thankfully it is resolved.
