We had a little mishap with the HPFP hard line cracking and almost killing Will but a local had a CorkSport braided line laying around waiting to go in so I stole that and installed it. So far so good with that, it definitely is easier snaking a braided line from the HPFP to the fuel rail than it is the OEM hard line.

I think my phone takes deceptive photos, there's grease handprints all over the car from when I did the suspension.

Tune is done until we can get NT01s on. Once those are mounted we'll know if it's the clutch slipping or the tires. I drove it last night and sice it gives up at ~7200rpm I really couldn't tell what exactly was slipping.

I will say we're hitting 4.6 maf volts on this 4in intake at 33psi... she's definitely a screamer! Will estimates 50whp or so gained from the previous turbo. Lots of mid range punch and no traction at all in third north of 25psi or so.
 
Checked compression yesterday and I'm pleased to say everything is still good and healthy. Oddly enough it's actually gone up (using the same tester) since when we finished the tune on my 35r. When talking to Will about it I got the response "cause everything is seated and ready for fucking". The plugs were also all still 0.024 across the board and looked consistent. I guess #BarnBuilt is still good and healthy after making >550whp for around 6k miles now.

Also, looking around my glove box yesterday found my MSO sticker and decided to stick it on finally.

Hell yeah! My compression was 190 after 1k miles on my built motor, and 205-210 now after 50k miles. Let her rip!

It's a good feeling when everything just works!

Over the next few days I'll be taking out the spare tire, rear seats, and possibly the passenger seat to remove a little weight for next weekend. Will also wants me to get in a couple test hits on the street before I hit the track on these tires to somewhat get the feel for what traction in lower gears feels like. I'm definitely excited to see how everything does. My only worry is that my transmission may not be so easy to shift being that it has around 157k miles on it.
 
My NT01s finally came in so I spent a little time last night putting in my extended wheel studs in the front so the tires would clear my coilovers. Changing out wheel studs was a lot easier than I had imagined so I was quite pleased about that. Here's a little comparison between OEM and the ARP 1007708 wheel studs.

And when I had all the wheels on, Will told me to do a quick burnout to get the tire stickers off.... needless to say it didn't end too well:

That axle lasted a good 6k miles.
 
I gotta say I am loving these NT01s. When the road is warm they'll hook second so I've been practicing my 2-3 ffs a decent amount over the last few days. I'm getting better but I still miss 3rd maybe 1/3 of the time. Could be because my transmission has ~153k on it...

I tried installing my Corksport lower tie bar yesterday and failed, unfortunately my under route intercooler piping is in the way of it. I'm not sure if I'll try and modify the bar, or just sell it.

Loving the look of my car though, the coils are sitting perfectly in my opinion.

And here's a little pull with my buddy's Vette. This was the first real pull I did with the NT01s and I freaked out a little bit because traction definitely doesn't help the car to go straight. Will thinks it may be my differential starting to go so maybe if and when I swap out my trans for a gen2 I'll see a little less uncontrollable tq steer.

 
Im telling you man, get an anti-lift kit on there. It helps the car feel much more planted. That and try and mod that bar to fit, I have to imagine that would help too.
 
When was the last time you changed trans fluid? Might help with the weebl wobbles.

The trans fluid was done when I put the motor back in about 6k miles ago.

Lol I've been meaning to buy one of these for some time now...
 
One of my locals removed the bar that was on his car and he regrets every minute of it.
Also, ALK with coils and stiffer rear bar completely changed how my car felt. It was amazing.
 
Removed my CS short shifter plate last night and put on one of @Maisonvi 's aluminum extender shift knobs rather than the extension (just so it was slightly lower) and I haven't missed a 2-3 flat foot shift since. A few people have told me not to run a short shifter plate and I'm glad I finally took it off. Much easier to get into every gear now.

Nice man, glad its working for you. And yeah, going from a short-shift-plate, to the Cobb short shifter, was a huge difference. Throw is the same-ish, but the difference in feel and force needed is miles apart.
