Yeah it's very slow. Soldering up a NOS CPE Standback to use in conjunction with a hypertech to get my timing ++++

Getting some warranty work done. Hoping it's running Saturday to start the break-in process and making sure all is well before tuning commences.

Engine in and Christine is alive again! of course, starter crapped out when he drove it home so a replacement ordered. No issues so far. Will get no boost as engine is broken in and old gas burned out. Lots of little things cleaned up and corrected in this major overhaul. Now to see the sauce Will can give it. Was at the dealer and took it for a tank of fresh 93. Man my back did NOT approve. Yay for upcoming fusion.

New starter also arrived. Pretty sure the warning goes against Mazdaspeed knowledge.

Dropped off the starter and picked up some parts that didn't go back on. Said my good-byes to the plastic reservoirs. Also listened to a potentially Nas idler pulley or tensioner. Peeped the roof which is looking less than spectacular. 10 year old wrap so yeah.

It was like before. Damond mounts are pretty good. It's obviously a little more than with the sloppy oem, but was doable. I hope to get the trunk insulated for sound/noise at some point.
