Redlined and now car is bucking and backfiring

So about 3weeks ago i spilled a drink while driving which casused me to accidently press down on the gas (WOT) for a decent amount of time and ever since then I am unable to accelerate. In the beginning the car would lose power and vibrate anytime I accelerated over 3.5k but would b fine even over 3.5k as long as I didn’t do any sudden accelerating. Then one day while on the freeway I tryed to accelerate too quickly and when it did it’s thing a code of p0302 came up. Which I know means a misfire in cylinder to. This code eventually goes away as long as I don’t accelerate and just drive with ease. I took it to the mechanics and they said it was either in upstream or downstream O2 sensor. Regardless, they changed it out and and $500 later I got my car back.the o2 swap out seemed to help sum but didn’t get rid of the problem. I try switching spark plugs and coil packs from cylinder 1 and it’s made the problem worse. Now I have bucking and lose of power under the slightest of acceleration. I’m taking it bk into the shop tomorrow morning but I just wanted to get your guy’s opinion on what y’all think it could b…it’s obviously a result of the extreme redline so I’m just wondering what could have possibly gone out when that happened???I personally think I blew out a fuel injector seal when I redlined it but obviously idk 4sure…I do have all bolt-on modifications and a tune that was done locally just for reference. Thanx for the input in advance!
 
Oh well the tune was on there when I bought the car and it still does it when I remove the tune.. but to answer your question DramaTune is who did it I was told… I really don’t know how to log to b honest and the AP that came with the car looks to be pretty old compared to the ones out now… I’m not sure it would b the tune since it’s been running on there since I 1st got the car w no problems…

time for a compression test and leakdown test.

there is a how to somewhere on here for logging, you need to get a log posted so that people can help you better

how many miles have you driven since the redlining incident.
 
So I went ahead and change out a coil pack that looked different than the other 3 and the problem was resolved! Thank you for trying to help me out tho I really appreciate it!… hahaha is dramatune not a very reputable place to tune ur car? I’ve honestly had no problems as far as that goes. As a matter of fact when I removed the the tune I can’t stand the way it runs and can’t wait to put it bk on!
 
Dramatune seems to have issues blowing motors that other tuners dont seem to have. he also managed to tune a big turbo car to be slower than a stock turbo car and told the owner that was normal

If your car runs like garbage with a cookie cutter tune or OEM flash, it's because you have parts on the car that require a tune to run properly. Guarantee Freektune or Will at PD tune can set you up right. My Stratified tune is also running great for years now, but I will be switching to Will when I upgrade my turbo. After watching his videos and the effort he put into teaching, Im hooked...he can take my money!
 
oh wow really, crazy! yea luckily i haven't been victim to such misfortune (Fingers crossed)! i do plan on upgrading my turbo very soon tho, nothing crazy probably a BNR s2 or s3. With that said and with whats been mentioned whos a known reputable tuner for our platforms??? I live in Phx Az so anyone known around here would be great!

Oh you've been subject to that misfortune, you got tuned by dramatune. that numpty has way to big a following on Facebook for the shit he's done.

Freektune or purpledrank are the go too tuners these days.
 
I had Diamond tuning do mine. I was interested since they were able to work with my VersaTune software package. They do both Cobb AP or VersaTune. Everything was on line, and they spent as much time and back and forth with my logs and their tuning magic as needed to give me exactly what I wanted. Especially the different types of throttle response. My ceramic clutch and lightweight flywheel are happy with the selection I chose. The long term fuel trims are excellent too.

That's awesome to hear! I am local to them and just did some tuning on their dyno with PD. Matt has always been awesome to deal with and had I not been so far into tuning my motor with PD I would have used them. I like to establish local relationships whenever possible, I've been pretty lucky to have a shop that specializes in Speeds and Damond close by!
