Welp, got almost all the right fittings from the eBay vendor. They accidentally sent a -4 tee in place of the fitting to connect the pre filter to the aem pump.

But once I grab that, will just need a few more fuel line fittings and can start connecting everything!

Just realized I connected the post filter to the pump incorrectly. Here's the correct way for how I'm running.

Also realized a grabbed the wrong pre filter. Needed one with female in and out. Will swap that tomorrow at summit.

Still waiting on the 100 micron filter to show up, but Jake and I started setting up the fuel cell System today. I'm sure I'll get flamed for running the regulator in the back with the return in a loop straight back to the cell, but honestly I don't care. I know it'll work. #fakereturn.

Just need an add-a-fuse for the relay kit, attach the 100 micron pre filter to the fuel pump, run the line from the cell to the pre filter and then the feed line to the front of the car and that'll be set.

Car is also currently at Oddball Industries for Scott to swap my gen 2 trans in and replace the clutch for me. Everything should be done by end of week, and then I can get back to tuning it!

Fuel cell lines and stuff are all routed now. Just need to install the add a fuse to an ignition switched source for the fuel pump relay.

Motor and new trans also went in yesterday. Got a new pilot bearing, new clutch disc and fw was resurfaced. Hopefully will have the car back this weekend or Monday and be back in business

First pull on the pu trans and fuel cell.

30psi peak, tapering down to 27 by the time I let out at 7100rpm.
Fueling is super rich down low, but lean up top. Gonna have to go over all hoses and connections and do a boost leak test and then tidy up the ssc map before turning the boost back up

Welp, I didn't get the car tuned in time for IFO, so I've decided to just cut my losses and let the car sit the summer. I'm burnt out and won't be able to attend any other track events or test and tunes this summer anyways, so I've decided to quit getting my own hopes up about the car and just let it sit.

Anyways, I'll probably replace the Injectors with low mileage and freshly cleaned units, get some overspeed injector seals and lengthen the injector harness while it sits.

Otherwise it'll also go in for some body work to get the hood, roof and A-pillar fixed as well.

Otherwise, if I'm up for it and there's some fall test and tunes I can make it to, I may try and get the car ready after summer is over

That stinks but it's good you have a plan. Better then rushing it and not enjoying it. I'm hoping to get mine on the road before summer ends but I'm not going to rush it either.

Finally watched that fuel pump video. Holy shit does that thing hum loud.

How the hell do you deal with that in the cabin everytime you drive?

Big things coming (will start another build thread once I get more parts).

But time for an all out engine build. Doing it the way I want this time instead of a budget engine build.

First step... Acquiring pistons from @Realgib3. Did that today. They're a One-off 12.5:1 CR piston. Will be ordering sleeves, rings, heavy duty wrist pins and a few other odds and ends tomorrow. Then time to drop the pistons, sleeves and the spare longblock off for machine work, keying the crank and some other stuff.

Then time to figure out what I'm gonna do with the head!
