Switching it up. Fuel cell for the PI will be going in the hatch. Got my 4" intake as well. Just need time to install the htp and the jmf, remove the 6th port, fashion a new section of cold pipe to replace the 6th port, wire in the new split second controller, run the lines, setup the fpr, and fuel cell.... Haha.. Daunting task0325181204.jpg 0325181204a.jpg 0325181204b.jpg

What fuel cell did you get? I can't decide on mine, I'm not sure what is the quality of the ebay but kozmic has theirs for $500 direct fitment

Whatever was in @Realgib3 car back in the day. It's his old setup. I'm sure there's pics on msf. I haven't picked up the cell yet. Just the manifold and the fpr

Jmf w/ the PI rail is now on the car. Wired up the split second controller to a spare coil pack harness last night, so I'll be putting that on over the weekend.

Also for now, I'm skipping the fuel cell setup, since the shop my external pump and lines were at somehow had the pump, lines and fittings go missing (they went into one of their friends jeep), and I don't have the patience for other folks bullshit to wait for them to reorder my stuff.

Sooo... I'm gonna run the PI the original way @Maisonvi ran his and see what's what. Just have to cut the ptfe line to size and install tonight.

Here's how it sits as of now.

Should be functional by the end of the weekend! 0331181545a-01.jpeg

Super curious to see how this turns out. I really wish I had been able to push my system to see what it would have done this way.

No return line or FPR?

That's correct without the fuel cell being hooked up. If/when I add that, fpr and return would be used.

The rationale behind not doing the fpr and return right now is that, theoretically I'll be using the same amount of fuel as before with my 6th port (maybe a hair more fuel up top where the jmf will be flowing real well). Just now with a jmf and 4 Bosch 2200's, over a stock manifold and 2 Bosch 2200's. We never had any fuel starvation issues before, so shouldn't now either.

Interested to see how this works. I have my rail in place and just caped the rail until I get motor broken in. Just to not worry about another system during break in. Did you happen to taper the jmf flange to match the corksport throttle body?

The non-PI JMF I first posted, had the 60mm tb flange. I traded it for a v2 PI version that had the 75mm tb opening

117% injector duty cycle up top on the spring pressure map on E48 lol. This is a 9psi spring, btw received_10209333740978917.jpeg

Looks like you blew off a wastegate hose at the end of that pull woth the boost spiking like that. When you talk about the rev hanging coming to a stop because of the throttle body, does that seem to go away for you once the car is up to temp and youve been driving around awhile?

Everything is in tact. With as cold as it was outside today, that's pretty typical of the creep we've always seen on this setup (ie- 10% wgdc up top to hold 22psi when below 60° ambient on stock fueling).

And no, the rev hanging doesn't go away once warmed up. Pretty much all the issues I have with the CS TB, no one else has. But Idk anyone that's running full 3" cold side charge piping either.

Im now really curious what versatune tables can do about the rev hanging, ive logged it and everything seems normal so i dunno whats making it happen. I cant imagine the 3” cold side making a difference since when i log it tps shows tb is closed but who knows. It wouldnt bother me so much if i didnt have this stupid loud as shit corksport exhaust. When you shift into 6th does it bump the revs up a little when you push in the clutch. Kind of feels like its auto rev matching a downshift but upshifting and only 6th gear, weird.

DFCO table. Adjust that. Fuel cuts before the TB closes
[doublepost=1524094320][/doublepost]Also, yes. On both stock TB and cs tb, revs have always blipped up when shifting into 5th and 6th. Pretty normal
