You're digging way too much into things. Just let the machine shop do what they do. I couldn't even begin to tell you what they should be nor do I still have the sheet if it was even listed.
I hear what you're saying. But I've seen both a lot of successful and a lot of botched MZR DISI builds. And a lot of the fails are linked to machine shops being unfamiliar with our platform. Regarding the successful ones, I try to take note, particularly on the objective data like this. Justin (FREEKTUNE) gave some awesome advice regarding PWC clearance. I've also read elsewhere great objective info about ring-end gap that on one hand won't allow excessive blowby, and on the other hand, won't pop your ringlands due to butting.

I'm just very input-oriented and inquisitive, and I'm filing this all under useful information for the one day that I'll be pulling you :P

If Manley platinum series pistons, Recommended clearance: .0035" measured 1.100" from the bottom of the oil ring groove."

Mine came with a sheet in the box. I'll see if I still have it.
My machine shop used that spec, and zero issues or even piston slap noises after 40k
 
Any news with your idle issues yet? How many miles have you put on the new engine?
 
Alan at Edge sent me a base map with increased idle. I've put 100 miles on it and even cracked the wastegate yesterday. Dump tube ftw!!!

Justin emailed me yesterday and asked for logs but I've had jury duty this week and haven't been able to meet up with my buddy at NTB to get my AC recharged. So I'm only driving as I need to right now.

Since you bumped this @Redline I gave the thread a skim. P2W clearance, like @Sho said is determined by the piston itself and will be in the spec sheet for the pistons. They also include specs for rings but what you're looking at is basically .018" top ring, .022" bottom ring for a basic build and then you'll open the gap accordingly to your power goals. I gapped mine a little more aggressively with .020/.024 which should be good to ~40psi or so. I consume maybe 1/2 a quart over the life cycle of an oil change running 34psi and get on the car a good amount.

Unfortunately, this one came to an end and is sold. Spun bearing on the new motor.

When I build, I'll be using an EFR7163 and 4032 pistons with a goal of 500whp or so. Not sure what ring-end gaps I'll use, but with the 4032s, I'm sure I'll be able to handle 30-35psi and still have minimal, if any, blowby. Here's hoping, anyways...

0.018/0.022 should be fine. I'd talk to your tuner/whoever builds the motor though. Especially with those pistons being good to around 500whp there's no sense in going too wide.
