Are you guys still operating? Your facebook hasn't been posted to in like 32 weeks, your forums and website are down for the past few days, whats going on?

No, this is the only one left I thought.
No, versatuner has had it's own forum for as long as I've been playing with the mazda speed platform. It's incredibly useful for tuning related stuff, just because it does have a lot of detailed and specific info on it.

While @Raider and @Enki are here, or maybe @JohnnyTightlips could drop in, what i was looking for is the big turbo tuning guide/recommendations that I believe johnnytightlips created. I've tried searching for it on here, but I can't seem to find it. I'm not sure if it was even on this one or on versatuner forum, but i feel like it was on here.

Also, just as a ballpark number, what AFR is reasonable to aim for at WOT, at it's richest? I've been trying to sort out why i'm running so damn rich - at least a good six inches all around each tailpipe are just black with soot, and it smells super rich when i get on it. i'm just running 94 octane pump gas, engine is stock block, 2012 speed 3, turbo is upgraded to a brand new td05h-16k, but at this point i'm not pushing things too far. ideally i'd like to get it to around 325-350hp or so, maybe a bit higher if it's reasonably safe (or can be made to be so). Thanks for any insight anyone can offer (if i need to make a new thread i will, but i figured i might just be able to get some help here without making a new thread)

Try to stay between 11.75 and 12:1, depending on amount of ethanol in your fuel. Less eth, more rich. Too rich can be just as bad as too lean on DI though, so keep that in mind.

For getting going on a big turbo, make a few maps with static only (no comp) WGDC; first one should be 0%, then increments of 20% up to 80%. My guess is you will see some movement in boost numbers around 40% WGDC, depending, and you can flash the next highest map to see where it ends up. Stop flashing and doing pulls on these maps when you get anywhere close to what you're looking for boost/load wise though, as you want to creep up to your targets rather than overshoot and bring it down. Use the data from the logs on the static maps you've run to create a new map with your baseline WGDC/Boost targets and slowly work your way up from there; note that you can use comps and a couple back to back pulls to let the ECU get you where you want to be and use that log to generate your final boost map.

Note that this isn't addressing fueling at all, as you should ideally have your MAFCAL dialed in before doing this step.
Also, note that the above is for 3 port stock style boost control setups; doing this with a 4 port in interrupt will probably shatter your compressor wheel and likely the engine if you try an 80% WGDC map.

I was curious about what was going on with the Versatuner forum. I thought it was just the shitty connection at my shop
