What are wires going to fuel pump responsible for?

What are the 4 wires going to the in tank fuel pump responsible for? There’s a brown, black, white and green

What are the 4 wires going to the in tank fuel pump responsible for? There’s a brown, black, white and green

Not sure if you've figured this out, but they are pump power and fuel level sender. If I'm not mistaken the brown & white wires (smaller gauge) are fuel sender and the green & black (larger gauge wires) are the fuel pump power.
