What did you do to your ride today

Ugh, curbed one of my wheels pretty bad today...thought I had more room than I did, then I heard the crunching noise. I know it's inevitable that wheels will always eventually get messed up one way or another, but still :(

Don't feel bad. I did it so bad I had to get an alignment

Shit man, that sucks. Could try plastidipping them, it'll fill in gouges and shit if they aren't too bad. When I dipped RX8s, it covered up a ton of blemishes that the previous owner put in them, some of which I didn't think stood a chance of it hiding; was pleasantly surprised to see how well they came out.

I figure I'll lightly sand the rough spots and try to find the closest matched paint I can...might have to hit up a hobby shop or something to try to match the TSW matte bronze. It won't look perfect, but from far away I doubt anyone will notice.

If they were stock wheels I would definitely just plastidip them or paint them or something, but I can't bring myself to do that to these ones.

Oh, good call; I didn't realize you already have fancy-pants rims. :P Good luck, whatever you decide to try! Curb rash is a bummer.

What head studs are you using? I know ARP has a good reputation.
Unfortunately I am just trying to get the old ones out. Mofo's are stuck in there pretty good...was being super careful too and still ended up stripping one. I managed to only get 4 to break loose before I stopped trying. Looks like I'll have to get creative with getting this one out. Never dealth with a stripped head stud before.

Luckily, and unluckily at the same time, the head is not reusable. It has a crack in it so I can damage the head getting the stud out. I just dont want to damage the block in case its still re-usable.

got some new tires installed on my fusion. cooper cs5 tires, were $385 plus $48 to mount/balance. however, i'm getting back $205 in rebates.
that puts me at $228 installed for a new set of tires. pretty nice little deal i got on 'em.

At Discount getting another half ass replacement tire after yet another belt separation. Upgrading them all when my winters go back on, but I need to make it that far first.

Jbr short shift plate and weight , solid shifter bushings, shifting is much different now, got to get use to it, old rubber bushings were very worn down/ Eaton away

I'm getting lazy in my old age. I also painted my recently acquired Block8head dual pod.

Added another CorkSport logo under the hood. Had some issues while tuning with Freektune and Justin suggested I get a new BPV.

Haven't driven too much with it, but I don't notice any increase in sound. I can tell it's not leaking like the old one. It seems quicker between shifts as well.

Justin recommended a dual port Go Fast Bits Response, but I really didn't want to vent any air to atmosphere and had already placed my order before he came back with a recommendation.

I need to get a few logs with it and confirm it fixed the issue I was having.

I've had the CS BPV for about a year and have nothing bad to say about it. It may be just a little bit louder than OEM, but not a hugely noticeable amount. Quality of the part feels very good, and it does seem to respond quicker when shifting.

Changed oil and rotated tires. I think I cupped these a bit at the Dragon a couple weeks back.

First ever track day on Wednesday...front driver side tire bit it on the last two laps of the final session. Whoops.
