What did you do to your ride today

Last Saturday, drive belt was replaced, alignment was checked and tires were balanced. The alignment was still okay so it looks like the tire balance remedied my issue with light/loose steering on the highway.

Nothing! I did NOTHING to my ride today. I finally have nothing i need to do for the first time in months!! No fixing blown couplers, dipsticks flying out, spark blowout, venting the cc, loose bolts, tires, rewiring gauges, ziptieing undertrays, fucking with blowoff valves, cleaning fuel from a blown out injector oring, fixing shit on the side of the road laying in god knows what, logs, stereo issues.... NOTHING. Well there is one thing i did to my ride today.. I beat the fuck out of it!!

Trimmed my rockblokz mudflaps so they no longer rub on every driveway. :-) I had originally gotten the normal length and after going 17" wheels it was even lower. I took 2" off each flap. Much better.

Installed CS springs/struts and a DM OCC. Also argued with a little beyotch on the other forums of if they are beneficial or not.

that OCC guy is a fucking retard, for sure, @Jonb

Upgraded my CS RMM to CS Stage 2 tonight. Engine is held in place noticeably better but vibes are increased at the moment; presumably they'll die down a bit after break-in.

No work on the Speed today, but got the timing belt, water pump, front and rear main seals, cam seals, oil pan and valve cover gaskets all done on the Miata today. Hopefully getting the flywheel resurfaced tomorrow, then just need to save up some cash to get clutch and motor mounts so I can drop the motor back in. I really need to make a build thread for it, maybe I'll do that once it's back on the ground and hitting the track again.

How do you like the CS springs and struts? Actually, I'm mainly interested in hearing about the CS struts.

Good so far. Drove back to Ft Myers from Orlando. Ride is barely a little more harsh than stock if at all. After having my eclipse dropped back in the day I was expecting it to be worse. But it actually doesn't take away any comfort. I did a sharp turn and got on it and they definitely stay planted now. Hope that helps

Thanks for the feedback. How easy are they to adjust? I know the front struts should be easy since you can do it with the hood up. How about the rear struts?

if I'm not mistaken, i think the CS rear are supposed to be adjustable on car, unlike koni yellows for example.

Easy. You'll have to jack the rear up to get to them as they're just below the rear top hats. But you don't have to remove it like konis. You could do them leaving the wheel on
