Figured I'd check in. No huge updates other than the short block is done and now waiting on the bowl work to be completed on the head. Otherwise,no rush on my end as I'll be a little tight on funds til next month. Grabbed a DM ms6 PS cooler using my raffle gift cards. Only thing else I really...

    Supra Slave cylinder

Also. Have you replace the oem rubber clutch line yet with the technafit SS line yet? The OE line is prone to swelling and causing goofy pedal feel. Edge auto sport carries the technafit SS replacement for the ms6

It did til I had valve float from revving it a bit too high. All 4 rods were still straight tho. Went 23k+ miles without issue until I raised the rev limit to 7500. Spanked @_Mazdarati and then the valves in cyl 1 met the pistons and that was that lol

Tribodyn ftw. This is my original short block that dropped a valve. Oil was drained when we pulled the motor in April. The blue juice is still clinging to the mains and still spins freely

    The wife’s MS6 has arrived.

Any time the battery is disconnected from an ms6, you must go to each door, roll down the window with its dedicated window switch. Then roll it up and hold until you hear it click. Only then will the driver door switch work for each window. Do this for the driver window as well for the auto...

Nada. Waiting on the new machine shop to free up so I can pay em and have em press in my sleeves, do my bowl work etc. Which is fine. Cause 2020 fucked me with work pay and with LG pulling out of the mobile game, I lost my job in April and just started a new job in the middle of June...

    SPEED 3 awd conversion

With vehicle speed not registering its likely limiting you to whatever launch control rpm is set in the tune. Raise it to match the rev limit and you should be able to pull past 4k

    XClutch?

I don't launch my cars or slip my clutch like they do. It's 100% a highway roll racing queen

    How fast is stock MS6?

A boost leak will affect power. Especially if tuned with one. Once the boost leak is fixed. You'll want a revision on the tune as it'll now run leaner than before.

    New to versatuner

If youre asking them to tell you how to self tune, I doubt they're ever going to reply to be honest. Those of us who do self tune have done the research on our own. I will say, Will at PD has been very helpful to me along my self tuning journey. But he also has known who I am for years and...
