    Knock sensor Forged Engine

Post a log. 0.3-0.7 KR is nothing to worry about in the high rpms. The 3 at 3k we'd need to see a log for. Sometimes you can get a bit of KR on spool up. But it's also possible that the tune is a little aggressive down there

Best all seasons for straight line grip?

They were good for the short while I had them. I sold the car like 7k miles after installing them.

    Killing KR

Darn. I don't have a speed anymore so idk how to test. Something seems whacky if the accelerator pedal going past 100

    Killing KR

the corn is safe as long as you keep it under 2 gallons in a full tank. The ethanol percent isn't very high, but it's a noticeable enough octane increase to troubleshoot. You should be able to do key on engine off and hit the pedal. add accelerator pedal position to the log list. floor it...

How do I pick a tuner?

you won't be disappointed. Just be patient, sometimes he can take up to 5 business days to reply. At least that was the case when I tuned with him last.

    Killing KR

are you putting the pedal to the floor? The throttle position % doesn't look right at all. I believe that is the throttle plate position you are logging and it should stay at like 76 at wide open. But yeah I agree with awafrican. Check the plugs and gap (can gap them to .024), replace them if...

How do I pick a tuner?

Check the tuner sites. Sometimes you can buy the turbo from them and get a free tune or discounted tune

the noobs in the fb group would lose their minds this is a bone stock 60k mile motor

    Help with reviewing my datalogs?

Yeah the test pipe should allow you hold a little more boost at the same wgdc so that makes sense the boost curve is higher across the board now. 5-10 whp is exactly what I'd expect from a test pipe. Your wgdc is maxed and looks like the right timing for 91 gas, maybe a little conservative. For...

    Help with reviewing my datalogs?

Your logs look fine. That bit of kr is nothing to sweat over. If it goes over 2 at Wot consistently then it's something to look into. The log looks fine. Don't sweat over v dyno numbers. Do you have lots from before the test pipe and tmic we can look at? How many miles on your car?

Should I replace or rebuild my turbo?

You can get away with the stock map sensor and a cobb intake or similar if you don't go past ~20 psi. I bought my cst4 used with like 20k miles on it or so. The car it came off of had the stock map sensor, stock intercooler, and a cobb intake. so all was fine there. I think it was just tuned to...

Should I replace or rebuild my turbo?

I'd look for a low mile used k04 on the facebook groups, or get an S3. My gen 1 cst4 started blowing some oil out the compressor at like 30k miles so that was cool....... The BNRS2 uses a GT28 wheel afaik. So you lose spool and gain little power over the k04. I think the S3 is the perfect...

Stratified Stage 3 93 Tune - Log Review

don't get hung up on numbers, especially v dyno numbers. I barely cracked 300 whp on the k04 even e30 on cf 1.01. That seems pretty low compared to others. But at the dragstrip in 80* weather I hot lapped like 4-5 13.4-13.8's at 107-108 mph. 106 if I didn't flat foot shift it. That trap speed is...

Stratified Stage 3 93 Tune - Log Review

If you had the same intake during dizzy tune you can try that map now and see what happens. Stratified boost does look a little low in the midrange compared to your dizzy tune and my freektune

    Considering a Resonator Delete

I'd wait until you get the test pipe in. It does affect the sound a bit. this is a good representation of what it will sound like. But he has a stock intake. your 3" intake will probably drown it out on acceleration, especially if it's metal.

Stratified Stage 3 93 Tune - Log Review

is that v dyno with a cf of 1.01 or is it standard dynojet? You're getting a hint of KR @5200. It isn't over 2.0 so it's nothing to worry about, but keep an eye on it and see if it's consistent or gets worse in warmer weather. If it's consistent you can try adding a gallon of e85 to your tank...

Importance of Accuracy in e85 Mixes

I agree with sho. the stock downpipe isn't a as big of a restriction as some people think. Stratified, Freektune, Nishan, and Purple Drank have all posted cars cracking 300 whp on good pump gas (no ethanol) with the stock dp. I made 350 whp with the CST4 on an e mix with the stock dp. Sure...

Importance of Accuracy in e85 Mixes

I had the same mods as you (plus a tmic) and was tuned on e30 (or whatever a 1 gal e85 to 2 gal 93 ratio comes to). Once I guessed wrong at tank capacity remaining and had an at least an extra gallon of E in the tank. Ltft went up a few percent but nothing beyond that. Try to get it close, don't...

    Turbo thoughts

I would do an S3. The CST4 might creep, the studs and nuts might strip out if you ever need to remove it, and the wga has 2 ports which is begging for a problem (you have to cap one, the caps don't last forever). The newest S3 should basically be a 2867r. I think you can buy it from freektune...
