So I got something cool, I just bought a DW430C, it’s a stock fitment 430lph dw fuel pump for the mazdaspeed3. On the graph it reads 469lph at 40psi so it flows the same or more than a hellcat fuel pump which is around 460lph at 40psi.

No need to mod our basket now and it’s a drop in solution Car is running great and slowly tuning it, soon to max out DI and on to port injection when I get all that figured out!

I’ll be running returnless with a FPR at the end of the rail and it returns to the hpfp. Simple yet works to increase pressure. I’ll be getting 1300cc injectors and whether or not I’m doing split second or motiv reflex is tbd.

This is coming all together nicely and going to make some jam for sure. No more misfires either haha

Good thing I don’t have ethanol in a 5 hour radius haha, also I didn’t wanna do a hellcat pump swap and this flows the same amount.

If it fails I’ll make sure to spread the word but it just came out as a drop in pump and why not try it out yk.

Okie dokie quick update. The RR10S brisk plugs feel GREAT. Smooth as butter and gapped at .026. I have the DW430C and DW 4.5 bar fpr installed. Works perfect and runs great. In the process of tuning and car sounds and feels great and is laggy asf but yk base map and big turbo and massive cam haha. Once done with DI I did install a methanol kit, 2500cc of vp m1 for it. Right now I’m waiting on reflex to get better on these cars and accumulating all the port injection parts and bigger turbo stuff for the next year to come . I’m just using the meth injection as kinda a bandaid till go port injection and get all my parts in order. As of now the only problem I’m seeing maybe is that I’m seeing 15psi on 0 wgdc with a 17psi spring. Once it’s out of tuning I’ll post pics of the build for yall

We are all good, at around 20-21psi now and it runs perfect to 6500 so far, waiting to increase rpm. Okay so the thoughts on plugs, I’ve run brisk racing silver 1-2-3 step colder plugs at .026 gap all for a good while and they all perform great and I can’t notice a difference. I’ve switched back to NGK Iridium 6510 because I just know the reliability of them. After I max out DI. Aux fueling will be in place.

Update: Di is done being tuned and is around 22psi maxing out IDC. Revving to 6700, will increase to 7700 on aux fuel. Nothing has changed much. I have switched up my intercooler piping, had 2.5in piping that fit alright but now I have 3in cold side and 2.5in hot side that fits perfectly. I got my raceport bov flange welded in too so I’ll be running a bov. I ran a block off plate since I built the motor and it sounded great but didn’t work well between shifts. Car is fast asf and pulls hard and will soon to be on aux fuel!

Lil update, So I just recently got a CS 72mm throttle body and adapter flange to help with airflow the the TB the flange on the focus mani and she runs great and definitely pairs perfectly with the 3in fold side piping! Car is a bit less laggy and more transient between on and off throttle and between shifts.

I had a question too, since I got rid of the coolant lines from the oem TB, I was thinking about running them to my EWG. It wouldn’t hurt with the extra cooling but if y’all knew a better route or somewhere else to use as a coolant feed and return that’s not already hot to run to the EWG that’ll be great to know.

Update with AUX fueling. I have my methanol tank and pump in the trunk and everything wired and ready to go. Waiting on the nozzles and check valves from prometh to get here then I’ll tune for that and turn up the boost and rev it higher too. I’ll get a fail safe in to prove how effective and safe methanol can be especially when done correctly with the right equipment!
