_Mazdarati's PTE 5862 build

Thats where i put mine... Again not sure if it truly works with boosted cars, but if ppl say it works for them...

So for right now, the only update I have pics and stuff for is that I got new wheels! I joined the basic bandwagon and got a set of RPF1s, courtesy of the one and only @Maisonvi. Was a nice little trip across MI to pick em up.

17x9 w/ a 255/45/17 615k+ tires
10mm spacer up front w/ ARP extended lug studs. I just need to raise the front and roll my fenders, because I rub like a motherfucker.

I'll also be making a haaj back over to that side of the state next weekend to visit @Funkster777, @LynzeC, and a few other peeps for a nice lil BBQ to celebrate the ending of this dreaded quarantine. We'll definitely get some pics up when that happens :)

In the meantime, I'll work on getting a real update made, as I have done a lot of upgrading and fixing. Hopefully I'll also have a big surprise coming as well soon

Lots of updates to come. Let's just say plans have totally changed. Big box of goodies coming from my tuner this week. Will go more in depth later today when I'm not on a phone.

Venturi PCV will still be happening, just waiting on parts and then need to get it installed. I've been busy.

So I decided it was time to part ways with a lot of my parts and move on....

To a bigger turbo.

Pulled the trigger on a PTE 5862 Gen 1 kit that my tuner was sitting on. CPe manifold, Gibspeed 2 piece downpipe, new oil feed and Eric Y. return line, and a DTP fab dump tube to top it off. I also ordered a Damond ST manifold kit to feed air to this beast and completely give the engine a better setup.

I am so excited to get this on and make some sauce for this season. Will be sticking with my same tuner and the same fuel. This 70lb box cannot get here fast enough. Hoping to have it installed and running by the first or second week of April depending on the ST kit's arrival.

No pics right now as yesterday was spent getting the manifold and turbo on the car. Would've accomplished both, but sadly the clamp for the manifold to turbo was misplaced and not in the box, that is on its way to me as we speak.

I will say the CPe exhaust manifold is incredibly easy to install, only pain in my ass yesterday was removing the alternator to get the new oil feed connected, that bish is heavy af.

As of now, I just have to finish getting the turbo on, downpipe on, and the EWG set up for that jazz and then put the ST manifold on and route vacuum lines and that's pretty much it. Oh, and probably going to find a temporary solution for a cold pipe as well until I can find time to get a one piece custom one fabricated.

All in all, looking at another 4-6 hours of work as I am taking my time to fix some little odds and ends as well.

Good news everyone, the car has started!

After getting everything put together, all the vac lines routed and the coolant lines I am no longer using plugged, the car started first try with no issues.... Except it's really loud since it's open downpipe right now (I'm working on fixing that very soon).

Only problem now is venting even more crankcase pressure so I don't have any problems down the line (need to find my valve cover with the bungs on it, got put into storage in the parents basement...)

Also my EWG is deciding not to open at all, even when bypassing the EBCS and linking it directly to the turbo boost source. So that means I get to take it completely apart today at work and see why it hates me! I'm hoping it's something cheap and easy so I can get to recording some logs to get the tune going. I leave for the dragon on the 21st, so I'm hoping to have a good solid 93 pump tune on the car before then and have all my other odds and ends taken care of as well.
